While you're bowing down, doing back flips on the bed...
He's not in love with you, he just loves you giving him head...
When she walks with you hand in hand, down the street...
You think she loves you, but she just loves that you're pockets are deep...
You may think she loves you when she looks in your eyes and caresses your skin...
She can't possibly love you when she's still sleeping with him...
He does it all for you, cook clean and wash some clothes...
And you think that's him loving you, yet he’s still flirting with Simone...
You're up all night waiting, wondering when he's coming home...
4am he finally walks in, you think he can't be cheating if he letting me suck his bone (lol)...
She disrespects you, treats you like shit and belittles you in public...
She's only nice when her rent is due, the rest of the time she treats you like nothing...
Most of us are so in love with the thought of being that we close our eyes to what's real. Our minds tell us what's really good all the time and in too many cases we refuse to listen. This how we end up brokenhearted and bitter. But who can you really be mad at? People show us who they are all day long, but yet and still we decide to assign them roles in our lives just to try and fill a void. You can't fill a pothole with soil because it wont last long. The same holds true for love. A pawn can never play the role of a King or Queen. Be careful assigning roles and remember the auditioning never ends. Stay on you’re a game and be real with yourself. The love game sounds and feels so good, but be careful and ask yourself this: Are you really in Love with this person? Or are you in love with the thought of what this person could potentially become?
I like your writing style and the voice in your work. Another well-written piece. (Glad I decided to follow your blog)
